Does anyone take Elavil??

I don't if anyone knows my story but just got of the vic 10 while tapering off.  Off since Dec 6th.  Still having withdrawal sypmtons and the doc gave me Elavil.  I take Elavil at night along with a half of ambien to fall asleep.  Ambien usually not a problem from waking up but I have been Taking Elavil since Fri and cannot get up in morning.  Do I have to get use to it or is this a normal thing.  I also take 6 Ulram during day and I keep reading about seizures of taking both Ulram and an antidepress.   But I guess my main concern is getting up in morn.  has anyone else taken Elavil and does it help?  Thanks you all have been great!

Hi.  I do.  How many miligrams do you take?  I started out on 25, then doc increased me to 50.  I personally don't see a difference in waking up,....but I must tell you I'm not a morning person like I used to be a few years ago.  I've only taken Elavil for 6 months.  No waking difference from before.
