Worried 878 post actually got me thinking......(not the first time) ----  she indicated that some forum people were wondring where i was.... believe me, the friends that I have made and the new people I chat with are pricelss ......My mother is struggling with alzheimers and my father tried to have a heart attack on me - - so I have been quite busy ....  And I may add that if not for finding this forum - I would previously down 10-20 hydros and be ready to go ........not that I would have been much help.......many things have changed since I stopped using -----  the best change is that I am now functional again ........ you need to know doctor speak before you can convesrse with physicians.  And if I hadnt been sober over  a year i would just have asked for valium or something instead of dicussing my parents conditions intelligently....... Currenly the parents are doing well - heart attacks run genetically in out family -- this is my first for dealing with alzheimers (dont care for it) ----    Have been combat lifesaving trained and used it ---  nobody shot them !!! IMHO real medicine requires bood and bandages --- !!!!

Eagle --- Welcome back -- Yes, Worried is right -- many of us have missed you.  No one can take your place -- you have a unique way of stating things that is most helpful.  I am sorry to hear about the problems in your family but am glad to see you back on here.  All the best.

Eagle,so glad to see you here, but I'm so sorry about the circumstances that have kept you away.I think a lot of us look at you as the patriarch of our little family here,so we start to panic a bit when we don't see you around.LOL I'm happy to hear that your parents are doing well now.I will keep all of you in my prayers.Take care my friend...Peace and love...Kim

So glad to know you are still with us.  I value your wise words!  I always read posts particularly when I see you have replied because you don't talk b.s. and thats what we need to hear.  Thank you for being such a leader here.
Glad to hear your parents are doing ok.  And most of all, I'm glad you can now deal with life without having to use over it.
