I don't know if Elvis had a song about cold turkey but he liked narcotics. He probably didn't have many withdarwl times as he had the doc at his beckoned call and other docs. Elvis died on the throne because he was so constipated from all the dope, he burst a pipe. That is to say narcotic pain meds caused him to be so backed up he was grunting and groining trying to deficate and he had a coranary.
