The presence of acetaminophen in hydrocodone-containing products deters many drug users from taking excessive amounts. However, some users will get around this by extracting a portion of the acetaminophen using hot/cold water, taking advantage of the water-soluble element of the drug. It is not uncommon for addicts to have liver problems from consuming excessive amounts of acetaminophen over a long period of time; taking 10,000 to 15,000 milligrams (10 to 15 grams) of acetaminophen in a period of 24 hours typically results in severe hepatotoxicity, and doses in the range of 15,000-20,000 milligrams a day have been reported as fatal

This was cut and pasted from a website about hydrocodone/acetaminophen. I had NO idea that taking so much acetaminophen in a 24hr period could actually be fatal. Back when I was taking the pills, I EASILY took 20-30 5/500's a day. That is at LEAST 10,000mgs of acetaminophen. AT LEAST!!!!!!! I could have died...Its something to really think about....

Yea...I know....Im a well researched addict....its amazing that most of us arent dead already...Considering what we have done...and how much..in such a less amount of time..not to forget all the other things we do to our bodies and minds....

Most of us are living miracles.....some of us are still in hell..yet some of us are climbing out......

The scariest part of that information is that most cases of liver damage caused by the abuse of acetimetphen does not show up right away or during the years of abuse.. It shows up months and some times years after you stop the abuse...something to think about..
