Extreme Nausea

I am 60+ days off oxycontin…. I have had nausea since I quit using oxys, but about 2 weeks ago I starting having extreme nausea.  It feels like have either an ulcer, or h. pylori or I’m not sure exactly, but the nausea has become almost constant. I’m taking prilosec (not helping) and went to the gastroenterologist and had an endoscopy w/biopsy so I have to wait til next week for the results.

Im just wondering if anyone else experienced extreme nausea after quitting opiates? (2 months later) I’m wondering if the oxys did something to the lining of my stomach... or if its like acid reflux or something.....

Thats a long time to still have nausea .Going to see the gastro was a really good idea make sure if those test come back normal you have them keep looking .That was a magor symtom when I needed my gallbladder out .

same here for the gall bladder I also had pain in my back around my left shoulder thought I was having a heart attack but it turned out to be gall bladder and boy did that suck! like avisg says have them keep looking better to be safe than sorry with a full blown gall bladder attack!
