The quacks would call it "reactive depression" combined with "opioid withdrawal-induced depression," if you care about pigeon-holing. Oh, and mosts doctors aren't quacks -- just a short-form I use ...

Have you ever been treated for "endogenous depression," which is a blanket term for "We have no idea what's causing it -- here, take these." It's an important question: have you ever been prescribed anti-depressnats, and, if so, did the pill(s) you got help at all?

If not, then I'm sorry to say it's part of withdrawal -- all you can do, when you're mobile, is to get out and do things you used to enjoy, or just go for a walk, bike, whatever ... then read stuff that interests you, rent DVD's that interest you -- silly comedies work for some, just to pass the time, which can move pretty darn slowly. Got any sympathic souls you can talk to?

Try to keep nutrition acceptable, take vitamins, get a sedative for sleep, keep spare sheets nearby if you get the heavy swetting -- it's all here, if you look around.

You're not wasting anyone's time -- if they don't care, or if they don't have anything to help, they won't post.

P.S. If you'd type regularly -- not all capital letters -- it's easier to read. There's something unsettling about the caps, but it's a minor thing.

Keep us informed.
