VICourageous is correct, there's opiate receptors in the digestive tract. Imodium should help. Imodium is an opiate that can't cross the blood/brain barrier. You won't get high off it but it will stop the withdrawal symptoms specific to your gut. Remember, its essentially an opiate, so at some point you will need to reduce your use of it.
You are not going to feel like yourself for a while. You need to give yourself at least 6 months. Its still WAY better than dealing with dealers and the rest that comes from having an active addiction.
Cheers
It does take time for all the BRAIN chems to balance back. There are receptors in the stomach too that are trying to clear up. The nervous system and so on has to re-adjust back as well.. If this Bathroom issue keeps up, Go to the DR..Other wise it could all still be part of the detox healing process..Time & Patience is what it takes. Hang Tight and keep your Guard up at all times. I wish you the best.
