FIORINAL addiction

Hello, just came across this forum, it's great. I have been addicted to fiorinal C 1/2 codeine for over 2 and a half year now. At worst I was taking 13 pills a day until I really realized I had a prob !! I am now down to 8 1 a day and am really taking this seriously from this day on. YES It will be very difficult... will be cutting down 1/4 every 10 days and hope for the best. I take mostly 2 X C1/2 at a time. What a mistake, NEVER do that, rather have a migraine trust me. Worst part, doctor acting as pusher, not helping at all so all in my hands now and am damn serious about this. :) so, if you can encourage me might help, first day tomorrow :)

Hello Shama :) and thanks and YES I am ready but scared :) want to feel good again, live life without ther damn pills !! My doc used to prescribe over 100 a week for my addiction and would even make out prescriptions in other peoples names !! ouff what a help, I had to take the infos and decisions !! he still offers to do it too..... YES I will need all support I can get and like I said went from 13 to lets say 9 a day, been stable at 9 for a year so I know it's NOT easy but found a few tricks on the way :) if you ever wanna chat (MSN)  let me know

Good for you. My hubbys doc was also a pusher. He has given him 60 pills every 12 days for a year without even batting an eye!! He has "lost" his rx more times than I can count. It makes no sense to me at all. Welcome to the forum, it's a wonderful place to find some great tips and support. Please share what your going through, I am here to listen and give what advice I can. You sound ready!!
