I am not sure about the banannas, but it is worth a try. I just don't like them so I did not do that. Also, if you take the potassium, take it with a full glass of water and do not take more than one because it will make your heart race if you take too much. The pain in my feet does feel like nerve pain. I have diabetes and have all kinds of nerve pain, but this pain is a little different. It comes and goes and happens mostly at night. I really believe it is a part of withdrawal. I haven't taken pain meds since the begining of Jan. and I am still feeling this pain. I will take this over the other pains of withdrawal anyday!
Good luck to you..... I hope you find out what is going on.
Dude, God is punishing me here, its going to snow tommorw again
I am ready to shoot myself. Everytime the weather changes it kills me, so I will be digging out the 300 foot drivaway again,
I did hear of the event April, I also Mnt Bike and tried it yesterday, Damn what happend to my endurance.
I am going to try and take the sled out and do some ditch bangging and see if I can keep up with the pack, I doubt it, but who knows. How are you dealing with the chronic pain???
I just take Advil but not much help??
Later.
Like I stated in some of my posts I think then pain meds made me more sensitive to pain. The funny thing was all my old injuries started to hurt like I can not explain in words. Lower back
Legs Shoulders , Head Knee where ever they operated on me over the years ached to hell and back, pins and needles in my feet and hands Damn, I have not been off of everything as long as you but it is getting better and pain is a lot less severe.
Dude I am working out and getting the good kind of ache in my muscles, a few days ago I would just puke and want to die, so hang in there, we are obligated to kick the **** out of all those little shits that think we are to old to ride.
Take care.
Oxy: Would a couple of banannas before bed do the trick?
Vette: I injured my back several years ago, but my most recent injuries were a foot shattered in 5 places and a complete tear of the left ACL in my knee. I had reconstructive surgery for the ACL in Jan of 2002. The knee crunches and pops all the time every since the surgery and I have a numb area on top of my tibia just below the Scope entrance scar.. I also now have what feels like nerve pain radiating up the back of my thigh from the knee joint and down the back of my calf. I can't see the surgeon anymore because I lost my insurance. All the pains are just surfacing now that I no longer take pain medicine.

I rode my moutainbike today and I am already sore as hell AGAIN!
I was just getting over the soreness from the Alligator. I can handle soreness from working out, but the damn burning and tingleing at night is a *****!!!!!!!!!!!
Banannas for supper I guess ;}

P.S. Vette, we are having a National Enduro here in Louisiana at Forrest Hill, which will be put on by the Acidana Dirt Riders on April 6th.
You should try to make it down here!
Funny you should mention that, doc told me it was from spine injury??? I get the same thing now pins and needles and my feet feel like they are frezzing, I didn't ask but did you inury your back?
I had that same problem from detoxing from oxycontin. I took a potassium supplement before bed, and that seemed to work for me. Good luck......
