Fentanyl to Norco..WD????

Fentanyl to Norco..WD????

I stopped Vicodin and started the fen patch for just one month, decided I didn't want to go that route for pain. stopped the patch on Friday of last week.  Went back to 6-8 Norco a day. More on some days.  Addicted...probably yes. Physically addicted...yes. I don't like that I am allowing these pills to control me instead of me controlling them.  But since sunday, I have felt like crap...super tired, go to the bathroom alot and just not feeling like doing crap...not my normal self.  Could I be WD from the Fen Patch after being on them for just a short time. I was using 25mcg patch.  I just didn't trust myself with the patch and the addictivness I have read about so I told my Doc it's not for me.  The last week on the patch, I have to say I felt the best I felt in a long time.  NO pain whatsoever from the Ostoarthritis. I kinda felt normal.  I didn't feel any type of high or euphora from the patch as I do at times with the pills. I just didn't think it was a good idea.  Now I am not sure why I feel like I do.  Zero energy, my stomach hurts and completely sleepless. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

I think you could be. I switched my pain meds a lot. Whenever I got a bunch of Oxy I would use Lortab to ween off those and then methadone to ween off that and then stay clean for a few weeks and start the cycle again. Each time I switched I would feel uncomfortable for a few days as my body wanted the stronger drug. If you really felt normal for once and happy then maybe the patch is what you need. I will tell you this...I would never go through life in pain every day just to avoid taking a pill. If you found real happiness and have good reason aka prescription from a GOOD doctor and no history of drug abuse then why would you want to stop. This is the only time in my life I had a reason to take pain meds and because I abused them in the past I am not taking them. It is only temp pain but if it was going to be lifelong then I would rather be on some sort of medication that worked then to suffer each day. I guess the question is which way brought you the better QUALITY of life? Then that is the route you need to go...For me, its not using but I used for the high not for the pain.
