Finally starting feel better

Hello not been on site in while not because I was using but computer messed up and no one in area I lived in worked on apple mac's finally found place and got fixed and back. I have not had a benzo/xanax in 75 days and I have started to sleep on my own at night. I did this with the Lord's help I could not have done it alone. Feel pretty good off these things thank goodness. How long did take any of you start feeling normal again from benzo's

hi...congrats for getting your life back....benzo s were not my doc....opiates were.  sleep problems lasted almost a month.....didn t feel really good for almost two months.  i guess we re all different.  i got through it all with our Lords help too and med help support. life gets better as everyday passes...keep on going and glad you re feeling better...maria :)

Hey MerryMaria... Just saw your post and noticed that you said it took you about 2 months to feel good...

I'm working on being CLEAN for 36 days off of a 8-10 Norco habit x's 3years and I hafta say that I STILL don't FEEL as good as I'd hoped I would... So with that said I'm glad that I only have a little bit longer to get my "Mo-Joe" back...

hi....yes it just takes time....it will come.  i think the mental wds are much worse than physical....i was on about the same amount as you for almost 4 years.  i remember at day 6 wishing i could just clean the house....thought i d feel better sooner also....i wanted it so bad...time heals all and the time has gone by so fast...good luck...maria
