First night/morning on suboxone

Hi everyone and thanks for the replies to my first post!! I saw the dr. last night, and needless to say i was in agony at the time(24 hours with no percs). After lots of talking and questions, she gave me an 8mg pill(not sure if this is the only size??) and told me to break it in half and put it under my tongue. So i did and of course i took the bigger half lol, and let it dissolve for about ten minutes. I started to feel a little better within about 30 minutes. Then in about an hour i felt great!!!!! no more wd symptoms at all!!!(this was just before taking the other half). So i took the other half as directed by the dr, and still felt ok. My appt wasnt until 830 PM, so i ended up being up all night(not sure if it was the sub or the fact that i had slept all day the day b4 cause of the wd's) but it was ok. I did get about an hour and a half of sleep, and when i woke up at 530 this AM it was the first time in about 6 months that i wasnt hurting and didnt have a   strong desire to take my morning dose of 3 perc 10's!!! The dr said to take twelve mg's today and sixteen after that. I see her agian in a week, and im already having a good feeling that i wont have to be on these things for long!!!! good for you!!!  do you find it helps with your pain also?  what type of pain do you have?

Great for you, when I first took Sub i thought it was a miracle Drug, of course i used it as a fill in drug when I couldn't get Hydro. My experience with Sub is taper as Quick as Physically possible, make no mistake this drug is Physically addictive. Sounds like you have a good Dr. thats huge. I went CT after 2 months of 8mg a day Sub. not reccomended it was hell. Relapsed 23 days later. This time tapered Sub but couldn't get off it, I tried for 6-8 weeks. Got down to 2mg every 3rd night, but if  I tried to go 3rd night w/o sub mr. Devil paid me a visit. I actually went back on Hydro to get off Sub, then tapered Hydro. Day 13 and feeling better everyday. Good Luck a Doctor who understands Sub is very important. My Dr. just wanted the cash. Some here have tapered Sub with great success and little WDS. Best of Luck! Good luck to you. I have been on Sub for about a month now.  Haven't felt this good in years.  I do think that it does affect sleep though. I have not slept for 2 hours straight since I went on it.

hi i have been on sub for about a little over one week i sleep, very well . In fact my doc said dontake b4 night you may have trouble sleeping.  B ut everybody is different. I love the fact when i wake up, i am not reaching for my doc (vic) . gREAT job Teach

You're right teach, i took my Sub when I first got up and 3 or 4 pm, Never had a problem sleeping. Slept great on Sub. One thing about sub I'm finding its seems very unique to each individual user.
