Been on oxycodone for a year and I'm addicted! This is third day drug free and I feel like hell. I want to go in the cabinet and take more...

Just need to know I'm not alone...

Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) was one of the worst problems I had besides feeling sick.  I tried the Epson salt baths too.  My doc prescribed clonidine which helped immensely.  You do need to cut your sources though.  Throw away whatever it is that you have, trust me you will not be able to trust yourself as much as you think you will.  You can do this this, you need to be strong and focus on the end results.  Praying for you.

Did you get rid of your meds?  Knowing they are there is going to drive you crazy and I promise you, in a weak moment, you'll take them.

It's interesting to me that it seems most of the women going through this run into some sort of reckless leg syndrome.  I don't here to many men getting it.  Trust me...over the last few days my legs wanted to move very little. :-)

Hi Leesh1 and welcome to the site.  It's a great site and you will gain a lot of info from it as well as some phenomenal support from people that have been through it all.  Like some have mentioned get rid of what you have left and cut the sources.

Check out the Thomas Recipe below at the bottom and try and convince yourself you have a wicked case of the flu...that what I did.  I'm on day 6 and feel I'm turning a corner physically. The mental aspects will last a little longer.

You can do this girl.  I was hydro for 3-4 years and keep looking at my kids for inspiration.

For sleep you may want to try melatonin or valerian root.  Both are otc's. A lot of folks on the forum takes lots of baths with Epsom salts and music.

Good luck and keep posting.

There are many supportive people here willing to answer your questions and encourage you.  The initial couple of days during WD can be very difficult and unpleasant, but each day will get better.  Just hang in there, keep posting.  Other people will chime in soon
