Flavored Subutex?

So heres the new one...My friend said that her doctor gave her flavored Subutex as part of a study. Is this true? (She tends to lie alot) I am also on Subutex and have NEVER heard of this. As some of you may Know, the taste of Subutex is the Worst!! If i swallow any it makes me sick..Also what happens to that Subutex when it leaks and you do swallow it? Does it still work? or is it wasted that way? Any suggestions on how to take it the best (legal I must add) way would be appreciated. I hate the taste..

I've been on sub for almost 2 years I have some experience with it.As long as you let it completely dissolve under your tongue you will get the absorption of it you need. It's going to leak there is no way around yes you can swallow what leaks. Do not spit it out. I know it tastes bad. I think the film tastes worse than the pill or I would suggest that you ask your Dr about the film. More of the sub does absorb from the film though.

Drman560 if you swallow sub it just wont absorb and you wont get the medication. It shouldn't make you sick you just wont get the medication you need from it because it needs to be absorbed under the tongue. I guess you probably could get sick and experience  withdrawals if you were to swallow the pill whole due to lack of absorption.

I know the Suboxone film is an orange flavor.  I think its been out for a little while now.  All I know is if you swallow it you can get yourself very sick.  Sub is a very powerful drug and you should try to keep your length on it as short as possible with your Dr.
