thanks for checking on me - I'm feeling quite a lot better today. Talked to someone in my health care who switched what I am taking for WD from Vistaril to Neurontin. I am hoping that might help the severe panic/anxiety feelings I have experienced. Also got the Thomas recipe vitamins and started taking those. Am waiting for someone to call to schedule a counseling appointment.

Thomas recipe can be found if you look at the bottom right hand side of this page - it helped me so much. The vitamins/supplements are really important now too as your body tends to become really depleted from our drug abuse. The stuff I found that helped the most was the b12 sublingual tablets, fish oil and I also went on St. John's Wort for six months to help ward off any severe depression and it worked amazingly for me.
Definitely check it out - and the amino acid protocol too. Both will help.
Comfort food is good early on - and stuff like yogurt, fruit, hot tea, ginger ale. Think hospital food (but better obviously since you're making it).
Just remember to stay nourished and get plenty of fluids - dehydration is a huge problem during withdrawal and aggravates a lot of the symptoms.
Good luck to you!
Also, what is the Thomas recipe?
