Hi Tim, Hows it going?   Ihope you had a great time with the family yesterday.  Sounds like things are going great for  you w/ da wife and all.........she sounds very supportive and understanding and thats always a plus.  

I am back to work today after having the week off.   I have to go in and prepare my classroom for summerschool.   Did you go back and read all yesterdays posts?   Two things happened.   Rooftrash is upset at medhelp and said he is leaving (I hope he changes his mind and stays!) and looky is back under the s/n of FatBastard.  I guess he got deleted due to the other loooky names' posts.


Anyway, I'll be on for a little bit and then I'm off to work.

How are you? We missed you yesterday. I am doing well today, more energy as the days go by, or should I say one month and one day for me...lol..

I had a trying day yesterday as I stumbled across a 80mg oxy, in my purse..I had to run to the bathroom and flush it. Well, I contemplated taking it, but decided not too. I kept hearing you all telling me to flush, so I did...

I was sorry to see Roof's post and wondered what happened. I am still struggling with the cravings and started taking amino acids. It didn't help that I fell off the wagon for one day. It didn't throw me into physical w/d's but it was not good. LOL, I saw FB's post and had a laugh. Fish made a funny comment and enjoyed that. You sound like you have your work cut out for you. You have a great day with much love.

I am so proud of you!!!  You are doing so great and seem to have this beat now. I know how hard it must have been to flush. I still don't know if I could do that. Sad, huh?? I keep on struggling with the cravens and just hope it will get better. I am worried about Todd, I have not seen him posting. I did read an e-mail from Weds that he left for me. I guess just worried about him.  You have a good day and keep smiling!!!

Oh honey, believe me...I most certainly did not want to flush it. I thought about it for a while, and new that if I ate it, that would be it..I would be on the phone with my dealer getting more...For me, I can't even go near them, or I will cave..It was torture flushing it, but alas...I said a proper memorial and down the drain it went....UGHHHH>>>>>.

It is so sad....But what can you do. This is the price we pay as addicts..

Anyway, I am so very happy to hear from you this morning and do hope that we hear from Todd..I was also worried about him and sent him a couple of posts...We will place a Missing persons post on him...lol..

I am sure I am of the male species. My wife tells me I am a feminist. I believe woman and men are equal. Thank you so much for your kind words. I am struggling every day against this chemical. I will win this battle :) You hang in there too!!!!

Anywho.....was thinkin bout what i said, about you seeming (sounding) like how a female would think or say??

I mean  that,  some of your posts sounds like how a females brain works...you know, we are considered to be the nurturering one, and i think...hmmm, i guess, you could say we think and say things more from the heart, rather than the mind???

More from an emotional standpoint rather than a logical, rational,??? i don't know...grrrrr,  what word am i looking for????

To me this is a good way to be.

I think my wife brought this side out in me. I have three girls too and I have to be careful how are word things to them. It isn't fun to have 3 little girls crying because I was being insensitive. My mother and sisters were a big part of my upbringing. My father basically taught the boys to treat every lady like you treat your Mother. Hell, I used to get angry with Mom at times. I lost her and still miss her to this day. Her words of wisdom are always in my mind.
