Ganja & Antidepressants

I'm wondering if anyone out there knows what a lot of pot use can do to someone with depressive and anxiety problems.  I've been on Lexapro20mg and Klonopin .5mg/3xday for a couple years now, but over the summer got back into marijuana after a long time away from it.  I try to keep it to a quarter a week, but have go through long stretches of using a half a week.  The last couple of months I've been feeling terrible and am wondering if the all the pot use might have something to do with it - maybe some specific interactions w/ my meds.  I need help I'm loosing my mind - been try'n effexor for 3 weeks now and need to stop right away because I'm having lots of bad reactions to it and I thought I'd give up pot in the middle of the effexor withdrawls and switch back to my old combo.

in my opinion anyone who needs anti depressant medication would be very foolish to smoke any pot at all.

we need to calm our minds not activate them more.

Pot does different things for different folks..............I personally have always found mary jane to be very theraputic for headaches and muscle pains. I took Lexapro 20's for a couple months and never had any problems with it interacting with my ganja use but different strokes for different folks right.
Honestly I found MJ to be much better for depression than the meds but...............once again different strokes......

justin are you talking ounces or pounds?  Hey, may sound like a silly question to some, but I know some people if they had the money it would be pounds.
anyway, I just started lexapro today, but haven't smoked any pot so I can't help you out there.

Hey guys - thanks for the quick responses as always - I just woke and swallowed a f'n effexor and a klonopin - hope I make it through another day - I feel like my mind is so fragile right now - I just want my normal self back and I can hardly remember who that is.  To steve - yes I've always thought pot was great for depression.  Here's another piece of the puzzle - I'm a recovered heroin/methadone addict (5 years) and before my addiction to opiates I was a speed freak for about 5 years (IV use of pure freshly manufactured methamphetamine).  That's all old news, but nowadays I'm trying hard to stay clean and just live a good life.  I so tired of suffering inside.
