Getting busy

Getting busy

I have been clean for 38 days I feel good. I have a hard time motivating myself to do even the smallest chores around the house. I do well at work but have hard time at home. I am getting my old self back I think...I just want more acitvity from myself. Amyone else experience this?

Congrats on 38 days clean! I am 39 days today! Something that has helped me tremendously is I have changed my diet and I am walking again. Even though in the beginning I was not motivated I had to push myself to keep going. It has made me feel a lot better and I have more energy. Don't get me wrong I do get tired but I also want to get healthier. Are you taking any vitamins? This may help you. Good Luck!

set times for exercise even if just a small walk.  Do you have a dog to walk?  My doggie keeps me very busy and distracted.  Sometimes I just have to put my IPod on so the music start motivating me to go workout.  Your doing great!! One day at a time.

Right there with ya on the time clean, and I too do good at work and struggle a little at home, but no where near where I was 3 weeks ago. It just takes me a little longer to do laundry or get ready, so I plan accordingly, and if I have improved this much over the past 40 days, how much better will I be in another 2 weeks? Of course one day at a time, but we have come so far I try and look at the positives instead of the negatives.  But yes you aren't alone in the energy struggle and finding motivation. I have started taking b 12, and I think it helps. And o read alot on here. Good luck and keep up the good work!
