Getting nervous about day 3 and 4

Day 2 isn't over an am starting to feel worse. Tired, shaky, nauseas and out of it. I keep reading day 3 and 4 are worse and getting nervous. I had a strong attitude towards this and still do but how do you maintain that if it gets worse?

Hope you had a good night, and by good, I mean clean... you can do this... I just woke up and its Day 4... noticeable improvement on all fronts... body aches are to a minimum, and the bathroom function is good, or at least back to normal ;)!

You can do this my friend... stay strong, and the back pain is why we are addicted to this stufff in the first place, and we can learn to deal with it.... I slept pretty much straight for 6 hours last night!!!!!!!! I feel like a different person today (from Sat.) and am excited about how good I will feel in a few more days...

If you can, get a couple of wheatgrass shots in today... stuff was amazing for me yesterday!

Good Luck today!

nobody's day 1..or day 2 or day 3 is the same as anothers day...for me each day was better and day one was the worst...either way..u have a few more days of feeling physically ill and u will feel much better...try not to dwell on it..stay busy...think of it as the flu and it will pass...aftercare is imperative..hang tight

Thanks avis and hurtin. I just got home from work and on the drive my back was killing me. Of course my first thought was to get a pill. I didn't but it worries me about what I'm going to do about my back. I'm going to try and sleep. Thanks again all and hope everyone can sleep

Friday 7:00pm was my last use, 3.5 10mg/650 Lorcets.... Sat, was O.K., Sunday (the day you are having today) was the WORST for me... today, for about the first 6 hours were not good either. Started pumping Vitamins, eating bananas, fresh squeezed OJ, and 2 Valium today, I am out of Valium, but I am glad... I feel VERY much improved right now!  You will too... Keep following these internet angels' advice, and you will get through this... you will... oh, and my runs stopped today (I know, gross, but real exciting)!!!!

As far as the sleep goes... toss and turning still, but keep thinking how great it will be when I can sleep naturally like I did when I was on the drug!~  Going to be pretty cool!

I ordered this herb withdrawal remedy for opiates, can't think of the name, but will let you know how it works... supposed to help liver, detoxing, calmness, etc.  a day and night formula.

Keep it going.. you will be so much better real soon... I believe that now... You will beat this demon back!

Like everyone said get the vitamins in your body steady each day they help a lot. My husband is almost done his day 4 from OC...he finally feels more normal just tired, he took the dosage of the vitamins listed in the thomas recipe and was fully energized and feeling awesome. He's still fighting the wd's to a certain extent but his worst days were the first couple. Your so close to being free of this and will start to feel better and better each day..just keep hanging in there and looking forward.

I think anyone who can do it cold turkey kicks a**.  I'm trying to taper myself. And even thats hard. Just stay focused and keep your mind occupied. You can do it. And load up on the vitamins. Good luck. We're here if you need us.

Keep moving,,, that has been a must for me, if I try laying down and rolling in bed then I feel horrible, I have forced myself to do things like leave the house and go for a walk,, I walked a mile today!! It about killed me but I made it and it felt great when it was over... i've also been doing the thomas recipe, and i've added vit D and niacin,, and pure determination!!! Beat this B!tch, or it will beat you!! Stay strong and know it will go away... i'm on day 4 1/2, I have my moments but those pass.. just try keeping your mind occupied,, i'm here a lot if you need to vent

Thanks for the support. I'm feeling a little better. The range of emotions are crazy. I cheked out the Thomas receipe. I'm doing the vitamins and bananas and drinking vitamin water which I'm sure is a gimmick. I'm very tired and an hour away of getting out of work. As all of you are pointing out that light at the end of this miserable tunnel looks so good to me. No more stressing about getting those pills. Plus my back feels fine. Some pain every now and then but it feels better off of those pills. Again thanks so much everyone.

It does seem like days 3 and 4 are the worst for many, but you might get lucky and not be as bad as expected. Try to stay positive even though at moments it's so tough. You won't regret doing this. Keep posting, it really helps to get through those first few days, your doing great so far. Have you looked into the thomas recipe to help with w/d's?

you just tell yourself you will get over it,you dont know day 3 and 4 will be worse,we are all different..for me day 1 and 2 were...just keep the immodium and vitamins, light food and plenty of gatorade or something( i loved the ginger ale)..it will make a difference,my mom always used to tell me that theres no point in worrying about something you cant control..... and it just takes time.....for me it was exactly like the flu,, just take care of yourself and keep checking in
