Getting of Suboxan

I want to get off suboxan and I'm having a very hard time.  I take 1/2 of a 2 miligram about every 12-15 hours and if I don't WDs kick in something fierce.  My doctor doesn't seem to care that I want off.  I have heard that 5HTP vitamins can help me while I try and detox.  Can someone let me know what they have done to stop the suboxan nightmare.  Thanks

i took alot of vitamins and forced myself to the Y to workout and sit in the sauna. the sauna helped me to sweat out those toxins n my body. it will speed the process up a lil bit for ya. if u dont have access to one take the hottest bath u can stand and sit in it for as long as u can. i took a 3-1 vitamin, calcium/magnesium/zinc vitamin. i took 4 n the morning and 4 n the evening. i think that also helped with the wds. good luck to ya and keep posting during this process.

The Thomas Recipe is listed on the health pages I think, otherwise you can search it to get exacts.  B-12 is good for energy and a good multivitamin is another thing that will help you.  One thing that helps me is just expressing how I feel and knowing there are others that feel the same.

Thanks for the support.  I am doing exactly what you mentioned, so I'm on the right road. What is the Thomas Recipe and can you share what vitamins might help me?  Thanks

I think you are making the right decision to come off of sub - there are certain vitamins and herbs that will help but the road to recovery is not an easy one.  The Thomas Recipe, hot baths with epsom salts, proper diet, exercise and plenty of water will help over time.  This forum is an excellent tool to use as an outlet for your feelings and there is much help, education and encouragement here.
You can do this with a positive frame of mind and the proper support.  Keep posting and try to keep your head up.
