Getting ready for Rehab

HI my name chris I have been a addict for a long time . It all started when I was 11 years old with pills an weed . Then I went to stronger drugs like oxycontin 80 . Then came the street drugs like heroin. I've tryd suboxin strips but I wasn't seeing a doctor for it so it was hard to rely on it to help me because I don't always have the money for it. Then I got into the methadone clinic . I've been in the clinic now for 2 months im at 90 milligrams . I started at 30 . I only started taking it because I didn't want to go to rehab right away I needed to get some stuff in order before I went . Ok now I'm ready to go . Im not going to taper off the methadone before I go . I know that they will detox me off of the methadone there . Im going to try an get into a suboxin doctor once I get out of rehab. Does anyone know how long its going to take me to start feeling better an does it matter that I have  onlybeen on methadone for a little over then a month.is 21 days in rehab going to cover it . Please try to help me out with some answers. Think you ....

Great move on hitting the rehab but you really need to think HARD on the sub plan they will only suck you back in try and exit rehab clean an sober you stand a greater chance of making best wishes.

I agree with Motye51, why get on subs after you get out of rehab? They will detox you once your there so there is no point at getting on subs. Subs weren't created to be a long term solution anyways and a lot of people end up abusing them.

In terms of your question and methadone detox...Im not sure because everybody is different. You said you've only been on methadone for 2 months so hopefully you will feel better faster than someone who has been on it for years.

I just wanted to say good morning and welcome....
I applaud you on getting yourself into rehab and yes, there will be w/d off the methadone but i HIGHLY ask that you reconsider finding a sub dr once out of rehab. Are you going to tehab to detox or learn???? W/D from the methadone i would hate for you to then get on the subs and have to w/d off of that....there w/d are VERY similar. Why not try getting clean w/o the thought of finding that sub dr?????
