Hey Lynn.......try to hang in there the first week is the hardest.......kicking methadone is a monster but it is doable your right in the jaws of acute withdrawal and thats hard it will get better with time......we all want to see you get well its time......keep posting for support good luck and God bless..........Gnarly

I don't know much about Methadone, but I've heard it is tougher and longer! But really think of how far you've come! All the thought and planning and preparation that you've done! Think of how much better you will feel soon! You will be happy! So many people are praying for you! Stay strong Lynn, try to focus on anything else! Take a walk or a relaxing shower! Only day 4?  Only day 4?  There are folks just starting who'd trade places with you in a heartbeat. Don't do anything foolish - you're almost through the hardest part of withdrawal.  Detox adds heaps of drama to everything we do. STAY CLEAN.

Yes, you can!!! From what I hear, you're just about over the hump!! I think you've made it through the worst of it. Please don't give up. I'm tapering right now and plan on quitting this month. I need to know there's hope!!!
