Wow. this is my second withdrawl from oxy 15's in the last month and a half.  The first time I went three days and relapsed. This time I will succeed because my scrip ( if I ever do refill it ) is not good for another eight days. So I am in a better position to do it this time. In the last five years I've had a knee replacement and both hips replaced. I'm  60 years old and have been taking 15 mg at least five times a day, somedays 7 or 8. I am now into day four and have realized I did not prepare very well.  I'm thinking I can do this cold turkey and I will. It will not be fun at all I'm sure but this time it will work. I've literally staked my life on it.
    So I live in pain but I have discovered that the pain is just about the same with or without the drugs....so I can do it , you can do it. But be forwrned if you live by yourself and are going to do this by yourself as I am, there are some items you will need.
    Lots and lots of underwear if you don't have a washer in your house. The diarrhea is so bad now that I cannot go out  door and go to the laundry.
    You will need 4 or 5 big bottles of Pepto Bismol , these will come in very handy, trust me.
    Make sure you stay hydrated
    You wont be very hungry but eat at least one small meal every day, no fruit....diarrhea again
    
I have not experienced a lot of depression as of yet but I am extremely weak. I am somewhat self employed and have had to bypass jobs at least this week. A lot of time in the recliner trying to nap. Take care all and good luck....remember the better life that is ahead.

Some Immodium will prevent the fart from becoming a shart.  Its very popular during opitate detox.  Its an opiate of sorts that works on the digestive system just like regular opiates.  Much better than Pepto.  You'll be sharting much less in no time  :-)

Congrats on your decision to take on the beast.  Kick its arse!
