hi. grandpa powders are analgesic meds similar to bc or goody's powders, containing paracetemol (apap....aka acetaminophen), aspirin and caffeine. overdosing can cause acute liver failure, stomach disturbances and kidney failure. organ failure from this medication is often beyond treatment once symptoms appear. you are likely addicted to the caffeine content. using caffeinated beverages such as coffee or soft drinks would be a safer way to get off of this stuff. withdrawal can result in headaches and irritability. this is bad stuff for your body and the sooner you quit, the better your chances of avoiding permanent, perhaps fatal damage. take care,  gm
