HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

by construction, May 13, 2007 12:00AM
thanks to all who replied yesterday to my problems I am taking all of them to heart and im greatful to have friends to talk to. Im just confused a little bit now but i know it will pass as i continue in the right direction. I made my wife and kids breakfest this am, and just cooked some t-bones for dinner, did all the dishes and cleaned up the house. i was able to buy justine a couple gifts and stayed sober all day and i think thats a good start for the new week. Its hard to watch her and her grandmother sit and drink a couple bottles of wine, but she isnt an addict, ill get over it. Hope all is well w/yall and everyone is where they need to be.Hope and Prayers Clay TX

Hi Clay.....Ya know what....this is one hard thing to beat. When you have it figured out, please let me know!  Your head is in the right place and so is your heart. You are a good man and I know how you are feeling!  I don't know what advice to give you other than keep fighting!!!! Your family needs you and they love you and need yoy to fight this with every fiber of your being!  I know how bad the cravings are and I am STILL fighting them!  My husband is still watching me like a hawk (I am grateful for that) and so are my two teenagers! My son just said to me yesterday "I thought you were done with the pills!" He saw my Effexor that has the label "Do not drink alcohol"  Can cause drowsiness" Same things on my Hydrocodone bottle!  They still don't trust me...and understandably so!  I think we need watchdogs! I know I do!

Please keep fighting....we can conquer this!!!!
