HELP I AM REALLY CRAVING

hi to all my friends.  i really need you guys right now.  some difficult things have been going on with me the last 2 days.  things with family.  and i am having a really hard time keeping my mind from drugs.  it keeps telling me just a couple pills to relax, your head is hurting, you are hurting and it would be okay.  you dont have to "go back" on the pills just take a few for medical reasons, i mean you head hurts.  i am not going to use, i cut off all supplies to them.  but I WANT TO.  help me guys.

Well, you already read my post today, and I can relate...but take a moment and remember this:

Life is nothing but a vapor, and thru our life here, in what we go thru....is NOTHING compared to what awaits us, when we will see how much eternal Grace will be poured out on to us, forever, and ever, and ever....do not compare these trials worthy of:

The enternal weight of Glory which awaits us! - Keep your mind and spirit ON THE THINGS ABOVE and count it WORTHY to know about the abundance of His Grace that... awaits us in our due time!

We can not even compare these trials, hardships and afflictions to what is ahead of us....keep pressing on for that Enternal Weight of Glory!

Since I have joined this forum, I have seen that you always responded to and helped everyone you could.  You made and kept people strong, including me..You are incredible.  I must tell you I often wondered..........here you were, so strong and helping everyone else, but at the same time going thru tough times  yourself.  But you always hiked up your skirt and were there for any and all.  Now you are going thru a tough time and no doubt all of the people that you took time out of your life to help are here FOR YOU!
None of us are infallable.  You have so many people that love you here.Stay on and keep talking to all of us. You got so many thru so much.....now so many will get you thru.......

glad you are feeling better......use my vice...ICE CREAM...cave to that...not the pills...

Remember to play that tape all the way thru...those couple of pills won't do a darn thing...except make you feel guilty and ashamed.....

glad you came on here and asked for help...you're getting back what you gave to me on sunday...SUPPORT!!!!

Wow girl, I gotta tell ya, out of everyone on this site I never would have figured you would have had a craving.  You helped me with your kind words and inspiration.  I guess I'd better be a little more careful myself and know that although I think I'm okay now, I just might get blindsided as well.  I'm so glad you made it thru this alright.  Knowing that this happened to you is going to help me keep that much more vigilant.  Take care and I hope your day gets better and better.

Not you please!! you are always so strong I always read all you post to ppl like me that are having problem but please cathy you know the pills are not going to solve anything if you are having headaches or back pain take Ibuprofen but not a norco PLEASE! you know my life sucks really sucks right now to my relationship w/my husband of 18 years is in the garbage now, my 17 year old son got kick out of the house he is back now but he is been using marijuana and I just found out that he took ecstasy as well he said he just try it once. Any ways we all have problems and you know what right now is that and tomorrow something diffrent and maybe you will have a few good days but you just have to manage life as is good, bad, suckee, painfull,sunny and grey with out covering everything with a pill or two,

Isn't it so cleansing to cry sometimes?  I hardly ever cried before I came clean and now I don't cry easily but when I do I feel so new afterward.  I'm glad you feel better Cathy keep doing what you are doing because we think you're great!

Sorry to hear you're hurting. It's really weird - I just ran home for literally a couple of minutes and something told me to check the forum. Your post was the first I saw. Wish I had more time to respond, but just want to let you know that I will be thinking about you today and will say a prayer (or 2 or 4 or...) for you.
You should not worry about disappointing anyone. You have been here for some many of us and helped us through tough times. Let your friends give back to you too. You deserve the support and encouragement just as much as the rest of us.
You're right - you're never alone. As great as you are, you aren't superwoman either. You're human and you're going to go through cravings and tough times. It's okay. You reached out for help - that's what counts. Hang in there. Go do something nice for yourself - even just a relaxing hot bath - or eat some ice cream. I hear chunky monkeys pretty good!  Hang in there. We all love ya.

thank you, thank you, thank you, the tears are finally flowing and that is a good thing. i am so used to being strong it is hard for me sometimes to accept i am not superwoman...and i know that it will pass.  it is just nice to know i dont have to wait for it alone.  this place and all of you are the best!!!!

okay, i took a walk and it did clear my head a little.  i know everyone of you are right.  i dont need and i dont want a pill.  they have caused me way more problems than they have ever helped.  i really just needed to feel some love from ya'll and i did.  things are a little better with the situation at home.  and that helps.  i hope i didnt disappoint any of you, but i did want to be honest and let you know i am human too.  please keep us in your prayers, cuz i still have alot to deal with.  thankfully i dont have the access to use, even i i were wanting too.  thanks for your faith.

Take deep breaths in and slowly exhale and then drink a glass of water... You know how many people are here showing their love and concern for you to stay clean.. you won't disappoint yourself or us.. your strength will get stronger everytime you say no to an urge..  I'll pray for you..   regards, gundo

Hang in there , Watch a movie, keep posting , Write in your journal, Anything to take your mind off it ! I dont know your story but have read some and you seem to be doing so great! You can do this ! There will be a want sometimes and thats ok but just think about how nice it is to not depend on something to save you from the bad things! you are strong enough to make it without that poison! oh the tricks the mind plays during cravings. it's not fun at all. cathy you have been a good friend to me and i worry about you. i know things have settled down now and everything is ok, but the cravings are worse. so glad you posted, talking about it and being honest with yourself is important, hang in there cathy, this too shall pass.
