HELP!!!!! Not much time left...

Okay, so here's the situation... My friend, Melissa and I have both been to rehab for opiate addiction... Both of us have remained clean for a VERY long time now.. we're both on Suboxone and we're both pregnant, (my due date was yesterday, still haven't had the baby but that's another story, probably gonna have to be induced soon)... Her due date is in May... Anyhow, she's still in outpatient (I graduated already) and has to be drug tested every week (I am drug tested monthly to stay on the suboxone program)... Well, she had a drug test prior to outpatient back on the 25th of February and just found out yesterday (March 5th) that she tested positive for alcohol... Now, I'm telling you this girl hasn't had a drink in almost 10 years, it was never her thing... We're trying to figure out how the hell this happened... The ONLY thing that was different with her was she had her glucose test (that you get in the middle of your pregnancy), would that show up as alcohol??? I've been trying to find out information on the internet and haven't found anything yet... I'm CONVINCED they messed up at the lab or at the outpatient clinic and switched her test with someone else's by mistake.. Her councelor is calling the lab to have them re-test it and see if the test has the pregnancy hormone in it, because obviously if it doesn't, then it's not her urine... If she doesn't get some SOLID proof by Tuesday of next week, she's going to jail, this girl is on probation and I'm so scared for her, she's turned her life around COMPLETELY and is doing so well, she's thinking of running but can't because that would just make things SO much worse (trust me I've been talking to her since yesterday about everything and BEGGING her not to run from everything). Please help!!!!!! What could she do to prove to the judge that she's not using, not drinking, etc... Alcohol of all things, I mean come on!!!!!!

Find out if any script or OTC meds may have been consumed that had enough alcohol to show up in test. Lots of stuff uses alcohol in an almost hidden manner......good luck - you guys deserve it.

By the way - I was "on the lam" for a little while a long time back. Its no fun and the Feds shoot pretty fast for flight to avoid......thank goodness I knew a parole officer that hid me until I could get proper attorneys together........I really don't recommend running anywhere but the lawyers office....

dont some brands of cough syrup contain alcohol. maybe she had a cold and used cough syrup a few days in a row? might want to ask her, and tell her to search her memory for everything she may have eaten the last few days b4 test. i know some restaraunts even cook in alcoholic beverages for flavor.. much luck ,like eagle said , you both deserve it...

Thank you BOTH so much... She didn't have a cough or anything and was even careful to not take anything for a headache (she's paranoid but in a good way).. Luckily enough, her councelor is amazing and found on the internet that the specific urine test isn't very reliable for alcohol, in fact, that's why they use the breathalizers instead... Besides the fact that there's several reasons it could come up that there's alcohol there... Just being pregnant can make it say that, along with too much sugar (glucose test), yeast infections (I know it is absolutely disgusting but I'm telling you this just in case GOD FORBID you happen to know someone that this happens to in the future), etc.. Thank you for your nice wishes and input though...
