43 days clean!!!!

My energy is coming back. I did not think about ill's or lack of energy at all today.

I need a good V day gift for my wife. She put up with all the w/d's and lack of energy and all of it.

43 days is AWESOME!!! I did have a tattoo of my husbands name done about 2 months ago. I realized this poor man has put up with me for 21 years through all my ****. Hahaha
He gave me a new set of boobs 2 years ago. Maybe you could do that for you and your wife:-) It was my 40th birthday gift

I have been reading all your posts here for quite a while now but havent had the courage to post, but i am laughing so hard here at all of your responses that i just had to post to you all to say thanks..thanks for giving me strength, support and advice even though you didnt even know you were..lol. thanks for making me laugh when i didnt think anything could make me. You're awesome.  43 days !!!!!  I can "hear" the joy in your words.  Energy is also one positive thing that changed for me.  I didn't know I was suffering from a lack of it on the meds. at all.  I didn't have a clue until I had been weaning for a month and I started to consider doing things again.  It's increased exponentially since then.  With the w/d the extra energy is a bit daunting though, because unless I'm typing, or otherwise engaging my brain, even with this good day, it goes bad fast when I try to sit down and relax.  I sat out for a couple of hours and it's hard to take the heart pounding thing.  What have you done with your newfound energy?  Anything the rest of us would like to try?

The energy is great.

I am a musician and now that the w/d's are gone i am pushing hard with the band.

I will get a copy of a song on our myspace page sometime this week.

Music really helps.

We are really on to something with this band. I have played in local bands for years and even toured with one. I went to school for music and spent many unpaid hours in recording studios.
It looks like it is all gonna pay off with this band.

Also being clean, makes the biggest diff.

Coolio, your story really hit home. my first time finding this site. Trying to research again about lyme and if any new hope.  husband has been suffering from lyme for over 5 years.  had what doctors labeled active lyme two times--last  summer had 3 bulls eyes--but never tested positive.  now on so many meds, including pain medicine that I swear he seems to be doing worse and not better to me.  I try to talk to him about coming clean.  seems the sweating nausea confusion tiredness are worse now that he takes so many meds.  Trying to get some joy back in our lives--but the lyme seems to have taken over.  anyway, enough about us, just wanted to wish you well and say your post gave me some hope. do you really feel better with less meds?  did you find a good dr in the area to help you through this?  we live very close to your hometown. my husband used to enjoy playing music as well but too painful now.

Yes less meds is better for Lymes. Alot of it is mental. The more i thought abot Lymes the wose i felt.

It is a real thing and people sometimes do not understand the pain.
