Halfway through Day 5

Well, to update, I have felt pretty much none of the W/D's today, except fatigue. No cravings YET, and with my nap averaged about 10 hours sleep. So far so good.. Except..

I keep fainting. I have awoken on the floor, and another time today daughter caught me, and I looked at her and said what are you doing? She said I asked help getting to bathroom and fainted. Geez, I don't remember calling for her.

So, tad bit concerned about that, but really not so much yet. I do know by asking its not exactly typical, but none of us are the same. I am eating major food and have been the whole time, so that's not it.

I am super scared if this continues.. Not sure what I'll do.
Thanks for listening!

Anyway, here getting stabilized. Very good thing I listened to you all last night.

They are treating me like a no good for anything druggie, and I can't wait to be released, prib tomorrow.
On plus side, it's day 6!

Hi Barb,

Fainting is not part of WD, but i can tell you that when your body is under stress fainting can happen.  I suffer from syncopy for years since i was a teen, docs told me to keep hydrated, get up slow, and if you feel like your going to faint get on the floor and raise your legs up.  But please get this checked out, if for anything it will give you peace of mind

Please don't wait.  Get yourself to the ER and get checked out.  Bring your daughter with you if you have to.  This isn't something you should ignore as fainting is not a typical withdrawal symptom.

Please keep us posted!

Barb, I agree with everyone u really should go to the ET tonight. If u have to take ur daughter with u. I kno u hate the ER but its better to b safe than sorry. I have really low BP and back mayb 2 years ago I was coming off to tramadol and every time I stood up I would get really dizzy to the point of black out. Well I lefT it go and thought it was part of the WD , tht night I was walking thru my kitchen with my 4 yr old daughter in there with me and I was very dizzy then next thing I knew my daughter was standing over my crying her eyes out, I had severe pain in my face so I went in the bathroom and looked in the mirror and my face from my forehead to my chin was gushing blood. Well when I fell I had a cabinet door open and on my way down I smacked my face off it and it gage me a very nasty gash on my face. If I would have gone to the ER this would have been prevented.please please go to the ER and get checked if u don't want to do it for u do it for ur daughter!! Keep us updated and b careful!

I keep nodding off. Imagine that!

Actually, I have been alone 3/4 the time. Except for you all!

I am watching vitals, and when alone, I crawl. I just thought, hoped, this was W/D's.

I can't thank you all enough for being here. It's so scary alone. :)

Ok honey. But check in often because I'm sure we will all worry! Keep a close eye on those vitals. And please don't be too stubborn to ask for help. That he is high.

Well your HR of 172 is REALLY high too! Your BP may be normal now, but if doesnt mean it didnt bottom out and cause you to faint!

I know you dont have anywhere to leave your daughter but be careful. If you hit your head going down you could have alot more problems!

I do have low BP normally, and high HR. I have been on 37.5 metaprolol for 3 years, and .2 Clonidine

I have to moniter to make sure BP doesn't bottom out. I haven't fainted since 3 years ago when prob was dx'd. Until yesterday.

I have nowhere to leave my daughter today. But if all goes ok tonight, I can go in the morning. My HR now is 172. BP ok.

If it gets worse, I'll call ambulance and take her with me. I'm so hardheaded, I'll admit. Afraid of ER badly.
Thanks so much for being there.

Fainting is NOT normal for w/d's! Do you have Low BP normally?? Are you taking Clonidine??

You need to get checked by a Dr. If this is something that has never happened to you before!
