Wow, Sonrissa is getting vicious!! I love it!!! :)
And I agree, Your BOTh doing great! Keep it up!
Pat, I have to second what Sonrissa said those 2 pills did nothing! You are doing awesome!! We are doing it at the same time! You are withdrawing and so am I! We are doing great! No turning back now! :) We have a hole army behind us cheering us on! Soon we should be getting our pawtographed cookbook right Sonrissa? lol! :)
Don't worry about the 2 damn pills, Pat! They didn't do anything! You are doing great! One step at a time! Boy, I bet you are sick of hearing that, right? You are both doing so well! Be proud of your success!
No turning back now lady. I am so impressed and you are ahead of me. I always thought we would do this together and it's pretty close lol.
If I hadn't taken those 2 damn pills for those last few days I would be ahead of you. lmao
Conhall, thanks for the encouragement it is very much appreciated!:) I already can appreciate the not counting pills and getting anxious waiting for a call back to go and get them. Onward and Upward!
Sonrissa, I can hardly believe it! I am almost a full week clean! So proud of myself for it :) I can deal with the little waves I have been getting its definitely easier than day 2 or 3! I am pretty tired so I will definitely drink a cup of sleepy time tea and maybe take some melatonin and hopefully be relaxed enough to drift off to sleep. :) Happy to hear from you lady! :) I can always count on you! Thanks for all of your advice. Xoxox
Wow! Day 6! You are doing awesome! Yes, the waves. You will probably have them for a while! I did for maybe about a month! But, they will get less severe and farther apart! Plus, you will know what to expect and can just ride them out! It will get easier, I promise!
As far as sleep. The more I stressed about it, the worse it got! Try really hard to relax! Relax as much as possible and just let it come! You worked hard today, and your body should be very tired! Take a warm bath or shower before bed and if you have some, drink a cup of Sleepy Time Tea.
Take care, sweetie! You are doing great! Just think, tomorrow is day 7! One week! That is a huge milestone!! Big hugs!
I am glad My words give you strength I was where you are at not long ago I am 149 days today and everyday is a better day and life w/o pills is Great! Not always perfect but what life is . Now I just Live my life good and bad days are always better :))) You will succeed and get past all this

Pepe I feel like a warrior that's been fighting a huge battle, just gotta keep fighting the good fight!
Perfect! That mindset is going to continue to be a huge help, you'll see!
You are a warrior . well done
yes this does happen but as time and days goes by it gets less and less and not as intense just learn to ride the waves baby! You are doing great Stay focused and stay positive you are doing great baby steps add up they really do :)))
Congrats on taking your life back the possibilities are endless :) Happy for you!
My expectations are definitely low, I find myself getting ahead myself and I stop myself. I just keep telling myself you didn't get here overnight so don't expect to be out overnight. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it :)
My withdrawal symptoms slowed down a little after a couple of weeks, but I still had issues months later but they weren't nearly as bad or severe.
Keep the expectations in check.. getting ahead of yourself and thinking you'll be 100% better in a week always tripped me up. So just try to go slow with this and you'll get through. :)
You are right I am setting my own records every hour, I have never made it past day 5. I am proud of myself :) thanks for your encouraging words, I can always count on you! How are you feeling?
Love ya!
Yes it is possilble. I would get them even on day 10.
It just comes is waves but it will go away.
You are going great and should be so proud of yourself. You are setting new records every hour girl.
Love ya
Pat
I was taking anywhere between 80mg-150mg Percocet 10/325 or 30mg Roxis whichever of the 2 were available at the time. Before this detox it was mostly the 10mg percs. I can handle short waves of withdrawa symptoms I am hoping they will let up some over the next few days but I know I can't expect miracles I took them for 3 yrs and can't expect to be out of the woods overnight. I would just be grateful for a few hours of sleep tonight. Thanks for the encouragement :)
Everyones withdrawal time is a little bit different with some common threads. And each day certainly is a surprise in the first week! Personally, my fog lifted about day 10. And each day from there I saw improvement. How much and what were you taking? I was on 100 mg of oxy daily for three years and quit cold turkey. Ltyrosine helped me with the fog! So do the vitamins. Great job on the clean time!
Is it possible to still have waves of withdrawal symptoms at 6 days clean? Just curious cause I will be fine and feel good and then all of a sudden I feel like I am back in withdrawal again.
