Hallucinations

I feel ridiculous asking this question - but had a scarey night. This is probably my 4th attempt at abstinence from vics. Been doing 12-15 5/500 a day for several years.  This is day 4 and feeling good except for not being able to sleep to save my soul.  Last night I could have sworn the clothes in the laudry basket were moving. (Socks crawling over the edge, bathrobe holding up its sleeves to dance -honest to goodness magic mushroom like hallucinations.  Could that because I'm dead tired or part of the withdrawals.  That has never happened before and really got my attention.  Any input?  thanks

It is uncommon, but people can experience hallucinations while withdrawing from opiates.  Day 5 should be much better!

I know when my mom was detoxing, even though it was from alcohol, she had severe hallucinations. The hospital called them DT's. It was crazy scary. Not sure if withdrawling from pills and alcohol can do different things. Hope that helps!

Lack of sleep is one of the reasons people using crack hallucinate.
Or LSD...lol, sorry, I am sure that is so miserable....try some valerian root or melatonin.

THat would drive me over the edge,especially if i was only coming off vics or perks or oxys. THat type of symtom is like L>S>D> i would probably call the paramedics,as i hate anything that causes me to hellucinate. all the best

are you taking any meds right now at all ? it could be lack of sleep ,but noramlly this happens because of a med mix .
