Happy 4th from Yoda...

Well today is the 3rd year anniversary of my head-on collison that got me started on the oxy's.  Since the accident, this is the first 4th of July I'm going to experience clean.  Seems like I have a lot of firsts to go thru, but that's ok.  It's raining here but I'm still happy that my brain is oxy free!  lol

Well this sounds like a fantastic 4th for you, being clean from oxy's since the accident! It must be like a whole different outlook on different days that you have not experienced with the sobriety that you have now!

This is my first fourth of July clean in 10 years.  I am very happy about that too!  We are going for a drive through the mountains and going to watch the fireworks later tonight.  Very warm and sunny here.  

I hope everyone has a terrific Fourth!!

It's not raining yet here but cloudy!  Hope it doesn't rain cause the local parade will be cancelled and my kids will be bummed!

Thanks to all of you for your kind words.  Yes, I should've talked my son into visiting one more day but he was anxious to get back to his girlfriend. lol
I've been invited to a  BBQ today but haven't decided if I want to go yet.  I know there will be alcohol flowing and I (addictive personality Yoda) don't need to be around it.  And also it's really bad weather here.  Hope it doesn't wash out the fireworks.  I've been to the fireworks display since I've lived here, quite a few years.
