yep, i did as much as 900 even more some days, then i was at about 640. then i went to suboxone , i was mildly uncomfortable for aday or so but nothing like full blown w/ds then day two and three i got my dose rught been fine ever since basically was fine at 32mg, three months later i'm at 8mg a day, somedays skip a day.Teddy
I know what what your talking about they are 30mg oxy instant relief. they are small and blue. i weigh 118lbs, and in one day i was doing 12-14 30mg oxy and anywhere from 1-3 80mg oxy and fentanyl patches. you end up getting a tolerance for the drugs. of course its not good to take that much, just keep an eye on it, he is not going to stop untillhes ready. addiction is a *****,and we are so selfish when we use. just be there for him, like you have been.
That is a very high dosage. I quit at about 100mg a day for 2 years give or take. It can be done.
Downey
I didn't know it came in 30mg pills, 5s, 10s, 20s, 40s, and 80s.
Anyway that is a lot but if it prescribed for pain then the best I can suggest for now is you hold onto his script and dispense it to him as prescribed, no dr would say 30pills a day. If he says he's in pain and needs more than pls tell him to call his dr and tell him it's not taking away the pain enough, sometimes instead of giving higher doses theywill send a nurse once a day to give a morphine shot, that way he can't control it.
I'm assuming this is a newly broken back. If it's an old injury maybe he can see a pain management dr.??
Good luck hon!
Yes, he is taking about 30 30mg pills a day. He has a broken back, some is perscribed. I'm scared! I don't know what will happen!
Are you sure it's 900? That's a lot. Why is he taking it? How is he getting it? Is a Dr perscribing it?
