Have I screwed my taper up???

Oh my gosh ! I took one extra today. I am really upset I did not do it on purpose.  I feel like I am losing my mind. Now that I have tapered back it seems like I can't concentrate, un-organized.  My family is here for the weekend and I am feeling like crud.

Please lord help me get well and be done with these demon pills and restore my health!

STOP!! Calm down & breathe!! i took a extra 1/2 than i was supposed to as well but guess what? we can make it up either tomorrow or over the next few days. Don't beat ur self up please ur doing good!!!

How much and what is your taper?  How many do you have left? Can You do without one tomorrow? Is that a possibility?  How long are  ya gonna taper?

Glad you reached out..don't beat yourself up too much...tomorrow is a new day..stop watching the clock and when ya want to take on see if you can make it ten or twenty more minutes..go do.something to take your mind off wanting...the craving may pass and you may be able to Compensate for the extra one today.

How many times have ya had to take extras?  are ya going to meetings after care? Glad you admitted getting that off your chest...I've done that same.think a bunch of times

Hi gg,

No, you did not ruin your taper.  As long as you keep going in the right direction - decreasing the amount you use every day - you should be fine. I don't believe one pill will make much of a difference, if any.  

Keep up the good work.  Tapering is tough.

I "Get it" i'm up now with a house full (my EXCCUSE for having that extra half since i seem to be a rareity & get energy from my hydro addiction) but after i took mine i already thought of how i could take less another day. You'll be fine!! as long as u have guilt & acknowladge this problem then ur on the right path! I'll be thinking of u!!!

My hours r so different from day - day since im self employed & work 1 12hr shift @ a normal job but i'm awake more than usual so i hope i can be there for u when needed. i'm not sure what time zone ur in but as of now it's 105 am. Please stop beating ur self up!!

Im glad you got.a taper buddy :)...i think you've gonna lotion willpower and strength to.taper...everyday young.down and.stay there is progress....do you ever get sick.when you decrease your amount? I don't know much about taper...heard ya don't get as sick...wishbyou Mich success and progress do;)

Take some deep breaths.  You will be okay.  Try taking a warm bath as that will relax you.  Are you dropping a pill everyday?

taking 1 extra wont kill your taper off unless it becomes a habit you cant yo/yo your dose you got to keep going down stoping only for withdrawals.....good luck and God bless.......Gnarly
