Have question

Hi,

Been without vicodin since 11:00 Friday.  Went to a doctor yesterday and gave me LORAZEPAM , CLONIDINE, PROMETHAZINE and I am very woozy and can't remember from one minute to the next. Is it one or both of the scripts that are making me this way?  How long before this wears off as I have not had any since 12:20 last night.

Lorazapam is most likley making you that way. I havent had any experience with the others but i did take some Loraz. from my Gmas bottle when i was younger and i felt groggy for couple days (medicince head). Try drinking some coffee and plenty of fluids. Hope this helps, remember im just going from personal experience

the only one i recognize is the clonidine.  didn't make me feel that way.  you might call a pharmacist, they know the side effects better than a dr. does.

I agree with Crispy. I have taken Loraz in the past for anxiety and I have definitly had instances of memory loss. Maybe you are taking to much, probably should call the doc. Good luck.

Send someone out for a blood pressure cuff.. clonidine can do that... your BP may be too low.. I would cut back to half a dose.. maybe cut back on the lorazapam too until your BP comes back up a bit.

The wooozy and memory issues could be side effect from promethazine; it's similar to benadryl but also used for motion sickness, help for sleeping.  It's an antihistamine.  There are warnings; if you're concerned, call your Dr....
