Heat flashes

One thing I hate when I'm out of pain meds are the heat flashes. Is there anything that will help with those?

showers helped me. i had hot sweats then cold sweats..i just showered and it would stop for a lil while.

I had them when I was on pain pills and they got worse when I w/d'd. I was like TnBrowneyes, hot and cold. I agree that a shower helped for awhile. Sorry you are going through this but you are making a great decision for your life. Best of luck to you and holler if I can help.

My Doctor gave me Clonodine for chills. It worked great, but made me really tired. I wasn't a fan of the shower when I had the chills, while your in there was great, but I hated getting out..I was freezing...lol....

I tried to stay warm...but everyone is different...Good luck to you.

I had the cold sweats.......the heat wasnt there for me...so I had warm baths alot....

I also had the cold sweats..I was freezing, wearing a sweatshirt in 90o weather....lol...It sucks...
