Help Me !!!!!

Hello, I am currentley addicted to a nasel spray.(Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride). I am going to go cold turky but does anyone have any tips for helping my breathing, and discomfort.

Hey there.  I honestly have zero experience with nasal spray.  However I know someone who was addicted to it.  She went cold turkey off of it and said it was mostly mental. BUT afterwards her doctor said that it was very dangerous for her to do that and he was quite upset with her for not coming to him.  Are you getting it via doctor's care?  You should really discuss with the doctor or any doctor before quitting cold turkey.. Just to be safe and to make sure its ok to just stop using it.    Good luck to you - take care

It ***** it really does. i quit CT several times the rebound congestion sux. you can use saline nasal spray...If u r seein a MD he may put you on an oral, or a nasal spray steriod which can help w/the inflammation. If you can take OTC nasal decongest. that helps some.I get headaches from the congestion but it gets better in several days.
