Help needed Xanax problem

Hey everyone,

I have used xanax for the past 20 days at 0.5 per night, so in total i have just took 10 mg in a span of 20 days. I tried to stop the other day and the next day at night i felt so weird & didn't know whats going on, i took another 0.5 mg that night and i woke up  as if there was nothing i was good again .. and i stayed good for a couple of days and then yesterday i got this feeling again which i discovered today is W/D syptomos .. then i felt better without taking anything last night then i woke up this morning and again the feeling has returned back .. i took this morning 0.25 mg and now i feel a litte better .. can someone help me please .. as you can see i didn't take a lot of xanax it was only 10 mg in a span of 20 days with a couple days break towards the end and as you see i only took 0.5 mg per night .. so can i just stop taking it and if so when should i feel normal again ?

Thank you all & God Bless !

Hi and welcome to the forum!
You are taking Xanax at a very low dosage and for a very short period of time. It seems tho that you built up some tolerance already tho. Why don't you go to the dr that Rx'ed them to you and explain your problem. With a small tapering plan, you can be free within no time.
Best of luck to you. sophie.

Hey Sophie,

Actually i got them of a friend of mine, so no dr rx'ed them to me.
And my other problem is that i am currently in the middle east where it is not easy to deal with stuff like xanax so i wont be able to see a doctor even for this problem .. can i just stop taking xanax given that i didnt do it for a long time and not that much mg either .. and if so when should i expect to feel normal again ?

Oh well, what I'd do is taper as long as you can with what you have...
Feeling normal again is kinda difficult to say, we're all different but it shouldn't be too long before you feel comfortable again, you only took it for 20 days after all.
Sending you strength. xoxoxo. sophie.
