Help needed for family member

My 30 yr old nephew is taking Methadone he gets off the street. He needs help. He says he cannot get in to clinic for help because he takes and Paxil or something that keeps him from passing drug test. He has no job and my sisiter gives him the money for the Meth because she is scared . He has no insurance and needs to be somewhere. Where do I go to look for help for him.I am more worried it will kill my sister before he gets help. He acts like a 5 yr old around his mother, calling her Mommy and telling her how much he loves her and then holds his hand out for the money. Makes me sick. Any suggestions will be appreciated.  Live in Maryland and I tried searching for some free clinic or something and cannot locate. Many thanks in advance for any help.

Hello,thank you for your honesty. Your are right, I am sure he is lying. Getting free room and board in the basement with his wife and 4 dogs. Happy New Year!

Your nephew is lying.  He can't get help because he doesn't want help.  Unfortunately, you can't force him to get clean but you can help yourself.  Its time for you and your sister to visit www.naranon.com and get with it.  He will stop at nothing to get his drug but you can stop feeding into his addiction.  Its not easy but its a choice only you and your sister can make for yourselves.
Even the best insurance in the country doesn't pay for the rehabilitation he needs at this point.  The both of you have to rally for yourselves, his behavior and addiction will get worse and you need all the support you can get.  Keep me posted.

I don't know if Suboxone would be an option or not but I am looking into it myself. I'm reading up on it and doing some research. It seems like a great tool to help through the withdrawals. Well anyway just a thought.
