Help quiting Focalin

I've been snorting focalin for a while now and I'm pretty sure that I'm addicted to it. I've been snorting it for at least 5 months now, everyday, and its really scaring me now. I have to snort 30mg of focalin just to get a high. I know it might not be as bad as some other people, but the thing that really scares me is the fact that I just burned through a whole months supply of pills in roughly two weeks. I don't want to go to any rehabilitation and I don't want my parents to be involved in this in fear of punishment and just the shame I'm dealing with. I've tried to quit so many times but it seems impossible its like an impulse, instead of taking my daily dosage of focalin I have to snort it. I don't know what to do I don't know what I can do to help myself. I know all I have to do is just stop but for some reason it is really hard. I just need help emotional support and a solution. Please I'm on my knees and begging for help. I'm scared for my own future, I'm only a junior in High School. I want to be happy and accomplished.

I don't want to sound like an idiot, but what exactly is Focalin? I was using roxy's and had to snort them to feel them. As for the rest of your post..... I can totally relate. I also kept my addiction from everyone who knew me, in fear of being judged. I feel for you man. You are too young to give your life to a monkey. Once I know what focalin is I may be able to help a little more.

I just looked it up cause I was wondering what it was also. Its like  Ritalin and Adderall (adderrall).
I agree he's awful young to be caught up in this rat race. How did you get on this medicine? The doctor? Maybe you can talk with him in confidence about your concerns.There is alot of support out here guys and gals of all ages. I commend the young  ones and am especially proud of you for being out here and seeking a forum like this. I'd talk to the school councelor again I say in confidence. Also I don't want to tell you what to do, but you might think of changing some of the friends you hang with.

Thankyou John. I even surprise myself sometimes.I try so hard to do the right thing.Sometimes I feel like i'm between a rock and a hard place. It isn't easy. But us guys that have been at it for a while, we just learn to pick ourselves up and try, try, again.This young man has everything to live for,with a bright future ahead. And he can either take the right path and perhaps be an advocate for his friends that may be on the same path (of destruction)And proudly say look at me! If I can do it anyone can,,or go down the other path. Thats the path that leads him to jail, hospital, or the grave.  Yes, I've been at this for so long, the drugs don't get me high anymore, so whats the point?
I found my best friend last december in her appartment. She didn't answer her phone, and I knew something up. I climbed in thru the window and found her dead laying on the floor. It was just awful. I don't want my story to end that way. Quote from Pink's song Sober. Too much to live for and life is precious and short.

Again, well said. I too lost a friend to drugs. He was mixing cocaine, xananx, and alcohol. Quite a cocktail huh? His girlfriend (my ex's sister) found him blue on the couch. It tore apart our whole social circle apart. I hope this young man listens to our stories and learns from ours and our friends mistakes. I don't know any pink songs but I do know a song from shinedown called "Save Me". I can send you the lyrics if you want. This song could have literally been written by me. LOL
