Help!!!

How do I get through holidays without energy or happiness and knowing my husband has pills he won't give to me because he wants me to stop...I do too, but today is a terribke day!!!

Pain meds are for pain, not for getting thru a bad day.  They give us a false sense of security.   How much have you been taking a day?

The holidays are just days. Remember the Scrooge story. Keep Christmas in your heart all year.

Does he take the pills? Are they his? Because If they're yours they need to just be flushed. Having them around taunting you isn't the way to help. And I know it ***** having no energy but you need to look at it like it's just one Christmas. Get through this one and you'll never have another Christmas like this again. Unfortunately addiction doesn't get put on hold on the holidays. Just do what you're able to do. Lots of us are going through this with small children,it's not fun. But the out come is worth it....merry Christmas.

You need a new name...b/c your not a loser or failure....maybe lost, but not the others.
you are definatly in a pickle...i totally understand its Christmas Eve so i see your delima...but you'll need them tomorrow, and the next day, and the next....u know how this goes! You say you want to quit, so why NOT today? And believe me, i hear your anguish....is he prepared for you to be down for a while? Is he prepared to help you through this....the day before Christmas??? This is my first year trying to pull off all the wrapping, trimming, cooking, cleaning.. .without that energy.....in fact, it was Jan 1st, 2014, that i started on here.
I know the timing ***** ... but can you technically do it now, yes or no????
