Just wanted to ask you all a question. I am 32 days off Methadone and I have been very fatique. I don't have the energy to do anything, including taking a bath. I sleep alot. I'm in the bed at 5-6pm untill 7:30am. Is this normal? Please, any replys would be appreciated.

I don't have experience with Methadone but wanted to say congrats for stopping!! I know some who have been on it and know how VERY hard it is to stop! Kudos to you!!

In my personal experience in detoxing from methadone, at 32 days I was feeling much better, my energy level did start to improve slowly around this time, at around 6 weeks was when I noticed a huge change in my overall health, I am now at a little over two months methadone free & mostly all the symtoms of methadone withdrawals are gone, but everyones recovery differs, you mention you sleep alot, I didnt sleep for almost a month after getting off methdone. Also Im a very active person, I remember not wanting to get out & do anything & the idea of going back to work was to much, but eventually I did & it really helped. Just hang in their & soon you should be seeing improvement. Penelope
