Hey all I've got a quick question.

So today is day 12 clean I feel pretty good just still kind of unmotivated and kinda low energy but whatever I keep telling myself that I am still healing. I made myself go for a jog last night and so I walked and jogged like 2 1/2 miles. Now I also mentioned that throughout this process I quit smoking too. I don't know if maybe this is a reason y but I cannot stop sneezing! Like really I sneeze a good 30x's a day could that be from quitting smoking? Or I it coming straight from the sub detox? I've been sleeping ok I go to bed around 10-10:30 and wake up around 4:30 I'll take that. Hopefully I'll get back to my 8 hrs soon I've always been big on sleep ;). Your thoughts are welcomed and thanks

Time and Patience are the 2 most hated words during this period!!  Give yourself some "time" to heal your body.  We cant see inside our body to see what our internal organs are going thru but it must be quite the sight.  We like that instant gratification and it doesnt happen right away so "patience" is practiced now.  You are doing great so sneeze away!!

Hey! Thanks for the encouraging words!! It's only day 13 but I can't wait til my 21st day already. From what weaver says that should be a turning point (maybe hoping it will be) I mean I'm not feeling any real physical symptoms anymore I just have like no patience and I feel like everything is a chore right down to showering. The chills are all pretty much gone I just need some motivation and energy in my life! Lol but I am still sneezing so I guess this **** is still in me ugh. We aren't doing any after care I know no bueno, but we r planning to find some soon I guess we just wanted to e physically better before we went anywhere lol. I've been going to work looking a hot mess I don't pick my outfit out the night before anymore and in the am I struggle and almost always skip the makeup and that's just something that NEVER got skipped. So I mean it sounds dumb but it's little things like this that sux but I will not use and I will feel better with time I just need to tell myself that . I have no cravings so that's good honestly I never want to feel this bs ever.

Try buying melatonin it's worked for me I got a good solid 7 hrs of sleep last night. Unreal but true my bf has been clean longer and still isn't sleeping good. I bought the 5 mg's from GNC and I started taking two a night like at 9:00-9:30 that way if it took me a while to fall asleep I would still have enough hours to sleep. But last night I only took 1 and it was more then enough I woke up once at 4am which is the time I normally would wake up like "F$*k why am I up!!" But I was able to fall right back to sleep. I've been working out too the last two days and believe me I HATE WORKIN OUT!!! But I noticed since I started doing this I've also been sleeping better like a couple extra hours a night. I just try to exhaust myself so that when I get home I crash, I think u need to try and do the same.

Congratulations on 12 days, your doing great !!!
When i was using heroin, my first sign of w/d everytime was, i would start sneezing constantly.
When i did my sub detox, i sneezed like 100 times a day for 6 weeks strait !!!
Its crazy, but i did read, sneezing is the body releasing toxins from your body.
So sneeze away i say lol !!
Well done again girl : )

I also think the sneezing is from the meds..not stopping smoking. I remember posting almost the same thing when I detoxed in 2012. I sneezed so much that I sounded like I had a terrible cold all the time. And I would literally wake up in the middle of the nite because I ha to sneeze. Lol.

Congrats on the clean time btw. Now comes aftercare. :):)

WOW!!! 12 Days Clean and all you have Physically is the low Energy & the No Motivation..Now that is the best News YET!! I have been on here for awhile and have talked to many that had this Low & No Motivation & Energy still at 6months..Of coarse it was getting better..WHAT you are doing is just so WONDERFUL..You will bounce back quicker and you might not have the Mental as bad, since you are raising those Brain Chem/Hormones back up by exercising like you are..

BIG CONGRATS on quitting the SMOKING!! I just quit on the 11th of this month (July) and I am heading into 2 years here soon on my drugs. I came close to a Heart Attack. A couple of my Coronary Arteries had plaque build up and it was bad..Had to have a stent put in one and the other one found a new route because it was 100% blocked..NOW I did eat very healthy and I take good vit/min, but they think this was mostly due to smoking!! Heck, there are many reasons this happens all the time now here in the US. SO I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!! Smoking makes it hard for us to really bounce back too, because it slows the process down on healing..It all makes since to me NOW!

You GO Girl. Just make sure you always keep that GUARD UP on all of these Substances, that like to mess up our Brain & Body & Organs. I sure hope you are getting some outside Support too.. This is a Disease and those triggers can be all around..Learn how to avoid them as best as you can and also learn how to change these Bad behaviors when they come a calling. Keep up the Awesome work that you have done so far..Yippee!!!

PS..Sneezing is normal for most because we have to rid these toxins any way we can..Eyes, Nose, Skin, Kidneys, Liver, Bathroom issues etc. BUT if it continues for too long I would go and talk to a Dr..You might have some allergy's going on this year..Be Safe!

Sneezing is more for some than others in any opiate detox, including subs. Also, nicotine stores in cartilage and I can feel it detox from my nose, ears, etc... I think the sneezes are a little bit of both, but mostly subs. The sub takes 21 days to leave the body, so you are still feeling that. After the opiate is gone from the body, we are left bare brain, no natural protection of sensation. I remember feeling like I was allergic to air and the breeze hurt my skin. We are hyper sensitive for awhile, this is normal. Hang in there, your brain will wake up and start building natural defenses.

good for you for quitting both.  i CANNOT stop smoking.  i  have smoked for 42 yrs and i am 47.  i have quit almost EVERYTHING you could name, including fentanyl, just cannot stop smoking.
i also sneeze a hundred times in the morning.  today it will be day 12 from fetanyl detox.  i NEVER sneeze, so it has to be from that.
