Sorry to hear your so down today. It sounds like you had a rough day with visiting your friend and seeing the X. I forget where you are in your recovery. What day are you on?? You are bound to feel depressed and it lingers for awhile. Can I do anything to help? How did your daughter's procedure go? One of my best friends had a bypass and it is a scary time seeing someone you love go through that. Just try to hang in there and I will say prayers for all of them.

You already did by coming over. I'm on suboxone. I've been on it for 3 weeks. Before that I would eat perocetts, vicodone, somas xanix and dilaudids. I'd make a meal on what ever I could get my hands on. The suboxone has worked excellent so far. But soon will come a time to wein off of then. Thats a scarry thought.I'm 53.  i live in minneapolis. My husband plays bass in a blues band and I cashier. Thats embarassing. But back in the day I was too busy drugging than worry about an education. I'm paying for that now. But I should
but I should not take things for granted...Right? At least I have a job and my health.

"Lownote,"  I get it now.  Your husband plays bass.... guitar? Does he play a 5 sting with a Low B string?  Hand in there... you can always extend the suboxone which is what I did... My new doc believes in a long extended detox from opiates.  I know the sub is an opiate per say but much different than the pills we took.

Yes the bass lonote. He plays a four string. I coulden't get on here and at party poker I go by Chattybudd, but hubby helped me get me on here at this site  using his name... its so guyish Now tell me do I look like a lonote???And yes I am the texas holdem queen. lo- its ok to have a bad day..and vent..we all do it. i think its great your working and your hub playing bass..mine does too but im about to sale his warwick lol.
then ill be ranting about my divorce..jk. even though it seems you have had a rough go today and maybe lately..you are still here and taking the steps needed. thats the best thing you can do. keep posting and reading and ask questions when you need to ok.

fish..is it better to do sub than c/t? do you have wd's like c/t? lol um look at me on day 10 and asking this but hey..im human right..inquiring minds want to know.
