Miss talking to you xoxo
Was totally glad to see your post again and I'm hoping that you get better real soon. Was starting to get worried..... So what did the dr say was wrong with you? What are they going to do, other than physical therapy, to help you?
Woohooo!
Congrats you! I'm glad to hear you are having some success with PT and are able to drive without crying. WIN!
I did pretty aggressive PT with my knee rehabilitation last year post op because I didn't want to do meds and I wanted to get back to my active life ASAP. It was painful but so worth it in the end. It's amazing at what we can achieve if we can't just reach for a pill bottle. It is definitely MORE work but SO WORTH IT.
Big congratulations on 7 months. Wishing you a continued recovery-
Lu
My physical therapy really helped. I was given a book about how our nerves and muscle memory play a part in truly creating pain that is not there. You have been off methadone awhile now, but it really takes time to train our brain and body to adjust to true, legit pain. Stick with what they say, it may not be perfect, but it will be a gateway to understanding what is true pain and what is hyper-algesia. I am very happy to see what you are doing, just keep trying new things a the time passes. Trust me, it will be worth it all.
