How Bad Will It Be

How Bad Will It Be

I was on Opana 20mg x 4 a day and Dilaudid 8mg x 6 a day and wd cold turkey over the course of about a week. This took place about 3 weeks ago. I had back surgery 2 weeks ago and went back on 15mg Oxycodone IR's x 10 a day. I've been on them at this dose for most of about the last two weeks. What I want to know is how bad the wd's will be. I can't imagine it will be as bad as the Opana since I was on such a high dose and was on it for 2 years but I can't imagine it'll be a cake walk to wd cold turkey from 150mg/day of Oxy even though it's only been 2 weeks. I just want to cold turkey now to get it over with before it gets bad. What do you think?

150 mgs of oxy is not near what u were on before..opana is strong..and so is dilaudid...oxycodone will not be near as tough..doesnt sound as if u have a mental problem??? altho the doses of the opana and dilaudid u state r high/suggesting tolerence ie long term use of narcotics....and only 3 weeks ago so possibly a bit of residual...alot depends on u and ur mental status with all of this..we r all different...one could do well with a drug or dose that can give someone else a hissy fit..thing is if this is what u wanna do then go with it...no one can tell u the degree of wd u will experience...i just know than `150 of oxycodone is a bunch less than 80 of opana and 48 of dilaudid each day//almost no comparison and surprised that dose of oxycodone gave u any pain relief at all....u got this..hang tight and move forward

Dilaudid 8mg x 6 a day?! Goodness, I was given 1mg of Dilaudid when I went to the ER and it knocked me for a loop. It was so strong It gave me waves of nausea and I turned it down when they offered it again.

Your withdrawal depends. Also differs if you're an addict, etc.

Your 1mg was probably IV or IM which would be much different to my 8mg pills.
