How Dairy Products Affect Methadone

I have been on Methadone for a couple of years. I have been told that dairy products, specifically Milk, causes the Methadone to decrease it's effects and that Yogurt enhances the effects of Methadone.  Can you clear this up for me?  Is it possible for you to relay internet sights that perhaps could explain the above in more detail? Hi.  I have used methadone on and off for years.  i got it from someone who has it prescribed to her for severe chronic pain and to my knowledge she has never been told about dairy products.  the only thing her doctors have told her is that the methadone gets absorbed more quickly if it has some Omega 3 fatty acids to bind to (like fish).  i have heard that calcium suppliments may slow the absorbtion of many meds, although i have not experienced this personally.  I have no idea why yogurt would enhance methadone.  that does not sound true to me, but i may be wrong.  if you find out anything else about this, i would be curious to know.
