How do I convice my Dr to perscribe be Suboxone

Here's my dilemma. I've been on Vics for 2 years. I admitted to my Dr that I have a problem and need help. I mentioned that I've read about users who were given Suboxone and they say it was a God send. When I asked him about it he referred me to a detox specialist. When I asked him on friday he said he will let me know on monday when I meet with another Dr . For the weekend he gave me tranquilizers, Muscle relaxers, blood pressure medication and aspirin. I tried it for 2 days and all it did was make me sleepy. ONLY problem with that is I'm in the car business and I have to be awake and alert. When monday came I asked the new Dr about Suboxone. She said to wait and gave me more tranquilizers, Muscle relaxers, blood pressure medication and aspirin. The withdraws got so bad I went back to vics. On my next visit I AGAIN asked about Suboxon and was told no, it would be considered a step backwards. When I explained that I had relapsed I was told that I was wasting their time by relapsing .I explained again that I'm in the car business and I need to be awake and these pills make me sleepy. I was told to make ANOTHER appointment and to ask another Dr about Suboxone and AGAIN I was told no and again I was handed tranquilizers, Muscle relaxers, blood pressure medication and asperine. It's like theyre not listening to me or theirs more money in the pills they are giving me. I'm really starting to get frustrated here. Any advice

I've been on vicodine for 2 years. I took their "comfort" meds and theyre puttingt me to sleep. I am dragging right now.Not a big deal if I was at home but I'm at work. Everytime I ask what they would recommend its the same crap as before, Tranqs, muscle relaxers, etc etc. I cant function when I'm half asleep

Have you thought about maybe tapering down and using comfort measures?  Or going CT and taking a week off work?  Are  you sure subs are the way  you want to go?  I don't think there's an easy out and from what I've read on subs, they have their own problems and really should be used for very serious heroin and pill habits.  Not sure how much you were using or if tapering is a possibility for you, but that might be worth a try.
