How long after reducing 1mg will I not feel so crappy ?

Today I was reduced by 1mg on my methdone and feel "crappy". How many days of taking my 7mgs will it take for me to feel i felt yesterday, which was not as bad as today?

As a broad spectrum view I believe that a week or so is rather adequate. One thing to remember - drop by percent of dose and not by static milligrams. If you are on 10mg and you reduce by 1 mg that is a ten percent reduction. If you are taking 5mg and reduce by 1mg you have just dropped 20% of your dose.....Ten per cent is pretty well accepted as a decent drop.............

Thanks for the nfo. I'm hoping i can feel better in next 3-4 days. This morning i felt worse.

What is a "half_life" in methadone?  I just got reduced from 8mgs to 7mgs on friday and feel nausea. I can sleep okay but just feel "crappy". Should I feel this way or will I feel ok soon? So far I Feel this way for 6 days.
