How long can u take hydrocodone before u start having issues?

I was 53 days clean from Oxycodone 15 and MS Contin 15 ER and had a dentist appt.I had a partial root canal done and also have a ear infection and was prescribed 16 Hydrocodone 7.5 and 21 Amoxicillin 500mg.I caved in from the pain and took the hydrocodone.Will I go through withdrawl now? I hate this because now I have to start all over again.Addiction is horrible..

Hi! I was addicted to Oxycodone and Hydrocodone for a few years and a few weeks after I went cold turkey I had to have a root canal. I was prescribed Percocet and took them as prescribed and did not experience any withdrawal symptoms. You should be OK in my opinion.

Hi..... well you shouldent experience any thing and as for your clean time your ok as long as you took them as prescribed....just be carful as addicts it is a slippery sloop the prescription called for one every 4 hours not 4 every  one hour....LOL I would flush them as soon as your out of pain

Well, hopefully you are feeling good and that 16 wasn't enough to put you into withdrawals or crave more.

I had a similar issue a while back where I had gone only a couple weeks clean, and was given the same thing for a pulled tooth, except the antibiotics were different, but I was only given 16 of the hydrocodone 10's and since it was such a minimal amount, and I took it as it was prescribed, I had no withdrawals at all. Just kind of craved having more, which sucked, but passed quickly. I"m currently 24 days clean for what seems like the 100th time. Hope this helps
